Art with Christy Charlot: Custom Sneaker Workshop
This workshop provides a creative space for participants to design and customize their own sneakers using professional grade paints and materials. The atmosphere is self-directed, allowing each individual to explore their own style and ideas freely.

Collaborate with participants by forming or joining a team according to your chosen challenge. Teams should have no more than six participants. You can choose or change your team up until the hackathon closes on October 5, 2025.

Project Submissions Due
All project submissions are due by 11:59 p.m. ET on October 5. Submit your project to receive a participant certificate and to be eligible for Global Judging. All participants are encouraged to submit what they accomplish over the course of the hackathon.

Remarks by Mayor Mike Spano, Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins, Sir Shefik Macauley, Charlie Knight, and other special guests. In 2025 — for the first time in history — Yonkers, New York serves as a host city for NASA International Space Apps Challenge.
