Philadelphia's World Cafe Live to Host Burna Boy in Revolutionary Global Music Event

World Cafe Live, Philadelphia's premier nonprofit independent music venue, has announced a groundbreaking and unforgettable concert series to be kicked off with Grammy Award winner Burna Boy in March 2026. The experience will happen at World Cafe Live (https://worldcafelive.org) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and broadcast to audiences around the world through both livestream and metaverse platforms, marking a first-of-its-kind integration of live music and cutting-edge technology.

This new live event series represents a major milestone for the music industry. Audiences will not only have the chance to experience Burna Boy in person at the legendary venue, they will also be able to connect globally through digital channels that allow for participation on an unprecedented scale. The concert has been designed to break down barriers and create new ways for fans to engage with live music, wherever they are in the world.

At the heart of the concert series is a commitment to social impact. A portion of proceeds will benefit the World Education Initiative, a nonprofit organization focused on providing education and college scholarships to young women in Africa. The World Education Initiative is dedicated to creating opportunities for young women who would otherwise be left behind, helping them pursue higher education and reach their full potential.

"This is more than a concert, it is a cultural moment," said Joseph Callahan, CEO at World Cafe Live. "By bringing together music, technology, and purpose, we are creating a shared experience that connects audiences worldwide while making a real difference through education."

Fans eager to take part can already join the waitlist for tickets at https://burnaboy.worldcafelive.org. The website allows fans to sign up with their email and mobile number to be among the first to secure access once tickets are released.

With Burna Boy's talent at the center of the premier event, and World Cafe Live's history as an iconic nonprofit venue, the event promises to set a new standard for how live music can be experienced across physical and virtual worlds, opening new digital frontiers.
